REMARKS
Despite the supposed signature and the claim that the picture was executed before 1800, the poor quality of the painting—the facial features and mechanical quality of the drapery folds—mark this as a blatant copy. It was undoubtedly executed at the end of the nineteenth century or in the twentieth century.
