REMARKS
Jean-Baptiste Pater, Baigneuses, oil on canvas, 102 x 143 cm. Formerly Potsdam, Neues Palais (destroyed ).
The composition is not related to Watteau but, rather, it is after Pater. It copies a well-known, much larger painting that was formerly at the Neues Palais in Potsdam, but which was destroyed in World War II.
