REMARKS
There is no certainty that the painting sold in 1971 and the one sold in 2015 are the same, although it seems likely. While the 1971 painting was not illustrated, it did have the same measurements as the one sold in 2015. Apart from this painting’s rectangular form, it is a very close copy of the Angers painting. It follows that painting’s color scheme for the costumes and is essentially the same size as the original.

REMARKS
The oval format and color scheme follow the Angers painting, but the work is only one half the size of the original.
